Broadway Fried Rice

Last Saturday we went round Port Louis and decided to check out the Champ de Mars Horse Race Track of Mauritius. On our way back to the center of Port Louis we found a restaurant on our left named Broadway and we decided to go in for Lunch.

It is situated at 36 Rue Pope, Hennessay, Port Louis and it cannot be missed as it is a bright green building.

The restaurant has a very cosy feeling as the furniture is all of white colour combined with table cloth of all sorts of bright colours mainly orange and green.

                       

 My better half and I both decided to take the 'Riz Frite Broadway' as recommended by the waitress and for drink, I took the ice tea.

Our views on both the iced tea and fried rice would be: "Lickinglicious" 

                        

The 'Broadway Riz Frite' is a combination of normal fried rice with a sauteed chicken and vegetables in a delicious sauce. We wouldn't mind eating this again and again.

The service is quite slow but overall in terms of price and in terms of taste of the food we would give it a 10 out of 10. 

The Broadway Fried Rice is sold at Rs160 and one portion is too much for me but well enough for my better half. Hence, you can decide to either share it or have one each.

COVO - HD Picturesque Liquid Foundation SPF 10

Have any one of you ever heard of Covo Cosmetics..? I hadn't either... until one day a lady came walking to me at Sunway Pyramid and asked me to try the Covo HD Picturesque Liquid Foundation SPF 10 for only RM25.

I was very surprised by the price and walked over to the stall to try it..I tried it just under my cheeks and it slid lightly and blended into the colour of my skin perfectly. However, I am quite fair as I usually use beige tone foundations instead of brown tones. The one that matched my skin was the darker shade of that collection: Sun Kissed.

This product claims to be a foundation that creates a soft-focus effect, covering imperfections flawlessly and comes with SPF 10, ideal for daily use or even professional shoots. It contains botanical extracts to boost the skin’s collagen formation while concealing the appearance of wrinkles and pores. The ultra-fine, multi-functional formula virtually fuses with your skin for a smoother, younger and radiant luminosity.

It claims to have the following benefits: 

High Definition
Mineral Enriched
Conceal Wrinkles and Pores
SPF 10
Medium Flawless Finish

My verdict on the following:

(1) Medium Flawless Coverage

Well the product does justice to that. I used to wear it to work and it still stood up until the end of the day.

(2) Conceal wrinkles and pores

Due to its medium coverage the product very well conceals the wrinkles and pores to some extent but we should definitely add a second layer of foundation for it to conceal perfectly. 

The only disadvantage I find with this foundation is the colours you get to choose from and that the price is not always RM25. If I'm not wrong the price is usually around RM89.

This product is a total must buy. Next time I'm going to Malaysia I'm definitely getting a new one.. Thanks for reading.

Nina L'eau

I received the Nina L'eau Gift Set for my anniversary. 

I got this as a gift from my boyfriend and I was amazed by the packaging. This was the first time I was about to use this perfume.

The gift sets comprised of a 50ml perfume and a 200ml body lotion.

The perfume is known to be romantic and subtle, freshly and aquatic. Nina L'eau opens the refreshing notes of apple, grapefruit, mandarin and neroli. The heart includes watery accords along with gardenia and cherry. The base is sensual musky.

The perfume is very light-weighted. It goes throughout the day and does not irritate my nose. The body lotion on its side is very silky and smoothens my skin and leaves the romantic scent.

My boyfriend adores the scent that Nina L'eau leaves.

To me Nina L'eau is totally a Must Buy..!!

This is the first time I tried this shower gel. It smells nice but not going to be one of my favourites.

No, as I like to try new things out there.

What I think?

This Rich Nourishing Cream is a very moisturizing cream with a very nice scent ideally used for the night. I use it every night and it smells great and keeps my skin very moisturized.
